حدثونا عن المعجزة والقمر
.. حدثونا عن ليث أبيض
يقحم الخطر ..!
أغرقوا في وصف الشجرة
فشدني الخبر ..!
نسيت جبني
ولجة البحر ..!
نبيتها متسلقا
أصافح الصور ..!
هناك رأيت
سيف الصاعقة هوى ..!
وجلت
وقلت باغتني القدر ..!
جاوزته
بحماك يا سندي ..!
سيف الإله
على الخطيئة انهمر ..!!

They told us about a miracle and the moon,
They told us about a white lion,
Which defies danger.
They expatiated on describing a tree,
Which attracted me.
My cowardice I recollected not,
So did I with the depth of the sea.
I climbed over it,
Shaking Hands with the images,
There it came to my sight,
The sword of thunderbolt,
Beats,
I panicked, saying,
I am taken aback by fate.
I surpassed it,
Under your protection, my supporter.
The sword of the Al-Mighty,
On the sin,
Hammered down.
